Officers pursued Alejandro briefly until he turned into a business parking lot on Mosley Road. There, he exited his vehicle with a gun in hand, which he raised at the officers. In response, two Hitchcock police officers fired an unknown number of shots, striking and injuring Alejandro.
The officers provided medical assistance to Alejandro until the arrival of the Houston Fire Department, who transported him to Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center. He died shortly thereafter, and no officers were injured during the incident. The investigation has been taken over by the Houston Police Department and the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.
