An 11-year-old boy shot a home intruder, sending a ‘full metal jacket bullet’ through the back of the leg, defending the home, and sending the intruder a major message. The boy later gave an interview and mocked the intruder during it. This dates back to 2016, but we’re posting it now because of how funny the interview is and to show home intruders that people are fed up and will act accordingly. 6 ABC reported:
Chris Gaither says he was home alone in Talladega, Alabama when he heard the intruder come inside. He says the suspect stole a clothing hamper and ran towards the front door. That’s when Chris grabbed his parents nine-millimeter handgun and met the man downstairs. Chris says the burglar threatened him before walking outside with a clothes hamper in hand. “I shot through the hamper he was carrying. It was a full metal jacket bullet. It went straight through the back of his leg. He started crying like a little baby,” said Chris. Police expect to file charges against the burglar once he is treated at the hospital.
