The cast of “The Conners” are grappling with the news that Roseanne Barr has taken control of the show, and are wondering what her plans are for the future. With her controversial past and history of racist remarks, many of the cast members are concerned about the direction the show may take with her at the helm.

However, John Goodman, who plays Dan Conner, has expressed excitement about her return. He stated that he has always had a good relationship with Roseanne and is open to her return in any capacity, whether it be as a director, producer, or cast member.

On the other hand, some of the cast members, who identify as liberal, have stated that they may qu it or demand no-contact orders if Roseanne is on set. Sarah Gilbert expressed her concerns, stating that while it may be okay if Roseanne simply owns the show and collects a paycheck, if she returns to the set, it could be a different story.

John Goodman, however, believes that there is hope that Roseanne can grow and develop empathy, particularly if she is surrounded by the diverse cast of the show. He stated that when someone displays racist behavior and aligns themselves with extremist ideologies, it’s time to move on.

At this point, it remains unclear what role Roseanne will play in the future of “The Conners,” or if the show will even continue. She has hinted that she might take her $208 million, scrap the show, and pursue other projects, and has even jokingly stated that she would take John Goodman with her.
