A nurse in Canada is finding herself a viral sensation after she reportedly got footage from a security cam that captured a couple of witches “holding a carcass-eating ritual.” That’s something you don’t see or read every day, is it? We are definitely living in bizarre times.

“I don’t know what the heck was up with that,” Corinea Stanhope, 36, from Powell River, British Columbia, stated during an interview with Kennedy News. “It really freaked us out, it’s not something you see every day.”

According to Fox News, after discovering the dead deer in a garden located on her property, Stanhope set up a camera to keep an eye on any animals that might be interested in the carcass.

“Me and my grandpa put up a trail camera to see if we could see animals, and we got a bobcat

[on camera], which was pretty cool,” she went on to say during the interview before adding that her 76-year-old grandfather, Bob, was absolutely horrified when he looked at the footage and saw what appeared to be a woman, wearing very little clothing, chowing down on the deer during the night.

“I came the next day, and grandpa said he’d got naked people on the camera, and I said, ‘No, you didn’t. Bulls—.’ So, he showed me,” she recounted. Stanhope then told the outlet that the two people appeared on camera a few minutes after the sun had gone down, looking “disheveled” and appeared to be sporting wigs.

“You can’t really tell from the photos, but the hoof was brought right up to her mouth,” she continued. “I don’t know if she was kissing it, smelling or eating it, but to touch a decaying carcass like that makes me feel sick – the amount of bacteria that must have been on there.”

“Maybe they were paying their respects, but they were naked,” she thought out loud.

Stanhope said that she was “creeped out” by the whole thing because it happened just a few minutes from her house, stating that she was afraid something might happen to the horses she keeps on her property.

“I was concerned about them messing with my horses at night,”

she told the outlet. “The horses always get really spooked and unnerved around that area. I thought they imagined stuff at first, so I didn’t think anything of it. Maybe I believe them now.”

The nurse said she’s hoping this was just some sort of elaborate prank or that the two people caught on her property were on drugs. She revealed that she decided not to contact local law enforcement after her grandfather pointed out the pair had done nothing illegal.

It didn’t take long for the photos to blow up online, with people all over the world giving their own explanations for what took place on Stanhope’s property. Some said it was just a prank, while others believed the incident was satanic in nature or contained some kind of paranormal aspect.

“That’s basically a walking demon from hell,” one individual responded. “If you hear screaming stay inside and get a gun you leave it alone.”

In one of the most bizarre explanations for the strange behavior, some users claim these figures are actually “skinwalkers,” otherwise known as “wendigos,” which are hostile supernatural monsters that come from Native American folklore.
