Taylor Swift’s hugely popular Eras Tour was just released in AMC movie theaters around the country in the form of a concert movie, and as many people wanted to head to one of her Eras Tour concerts but were unable to, the movie has already exploded in popularity and is providing a much-needed boost to the movie theater company,
The nearly three-hour concert film was announced in late August, with fans eagerly anticipating and counting down the days to its release since news of it broke. It will, according to AMC, play in about 8,500 theaters around the world.
In fact, the “unprecedented demand” for the film, according to Taylor Swift, prompted “opening up early access showings of The Eras Tour Concert Film on THURSDAY in America and Canada,” with even more showtimes released over the weekend.
“ PREMIERE DAY Andddd I can’t really wrap my head around this but….
