Trump Has Ominous Response For Iranian Leader Who Refuses Surrender

President Donald Trump offered a terse response to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s refusal to end Iran’s nuclear program, replying simply, “Good luck.” Amid rising tensions between Iran and Israel, Trump is weighing the use of “bunker buster” bombs on Iran’s fortified Fordow nuclear facility. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated that the president would decide within two weeks, allowing time for possible negotiations. Trump revealed that Iran has requested direct talks and is willing to send a delegation to the White House, but emphasized he hasn’t reached out himself and denied media claims suggesting otherwise.

As Israel continues targeting Iran’s military and nuclear infrastructure, it has urged the U.S. to take direct action against Fordow, a facility Israel lacks the weaponry to destroy. Trump acknowledged the U.S. has the necessary capability but said a strike isn’t guaranteed. He touted American military strength and expressed frustration that Iran previously rejected a deal he believes would have prevented the current standoff. While Trump remains open to a meeting, he stressed that any deal now may come too late, and reiterated his call for Iran’s “unconditional surrender.”
