Actor Kelsey Grammer is more than someone who portrays a man of faith in the new movie Jesus Revolution. He said he also walks the walk \u2014 and he\u2019s proud to do it.<\/p>\n
Let\u2019s start with the movie.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s based on real-life pastor Chuck Smith, who decided to invite hippies introduce rock music into his fledgling church. Along the way, Smith received help from Lonnie Frisbee of street preacher Lonnie Frisbee (played by Jonathan Roumie).<\/p>\n
Grammer, 68, watched the finished product with wife Kayte Walsh.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s really uplifting. It\u2019s a good movie,\u201d Grammer said, via USA Today. \u201cMy wife and I saw it together. She was just dissolved in tears and said, \u2018It\u2019s the best thing you\u2019ve ever done.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
Grammer has become a full-fledged protestant after being raised as a Christian Scientist. He said he remembers the Jesus hippie movement of the 1960s and \u201970s.<\/p>\n
