All right. Thank you for reminding me that women can be pilots. I didn\u2019t know that,\u201d she added sarcastically.<\/p>\n<p>Kelly then brought up Sheryl Lee Ralph performing the Black National Anthem.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd then of course, we had to have the Black National Anthem in addition to the regular national anthem, which is totally divisive. There is no reason to have a Black National Anthem sung before the Super Bowl,\u201d Kelly said.\u201cBut there\u2019s one national anthem. It unites us all. It\u2019s about love of country. There\u2019s no point in dividing us by race, going into something that is already unifying as a country.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Congrats to the Chiefs on an amazing win and to the Eagles for leaving nothing on the field. Tenacity, grit, mental &amp; physical toughness &#8211; lots to admire.<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Megyn Kelly (@megynkelly) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/megynkelly\/status\/1624972369444982787?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 13, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Kelly Calls Out Ben Affleck<br \/>\nNot stopping there, Kelly proceeded to bring up the many Super Bowl commercials that prominently featured \u201cleft-wing\u201d celebrities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd then we had a parade of left-wing celebrities all over the ads from Amy Schumer to Ben Affleck, who won\u2019t even act with a Republican. He refuses to act across anybody who\u2019s openly Republican,\u201d Kelly said.<\/p>\n<p>Kelly was likely referring to a 2014 interview that Affleck did in which he slammed Republicans.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople now know me as a Democrat, and that will always be the case to some extent,\u201d Affleck told Playboy Magazine at the time. \u201cIt does [polarize viewers], and you can bifurcate your audience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I watch a guy I know is a big Republican, part of me thinks, I probably wouldn\u2019t like this person if I met him, or we would have different opinions,\u201d he continued. \u201cThat s\u2013t fogs the mind when you should be paying attention and be swept into the illusion.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Ben Affleck is at the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/GRAMMYs?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#GRAMMYs<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/7OsFBmnpKx\">pic.twitter.com\/7OsFBmnpKx<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Rita \u262e\ufe0f \ud83c\udf3b Pro-Choice &#8211; Proud Democrat (@RitaLeeCain) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RitaLeeCain\/status\/1622423437133193217?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 6, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Kelly Doubles Down<br \/>\nKelly concluded her rant by calling out those who run the Super Bowl for \u201cpandering.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll I could think was like, they don\u2019t get it right,\u201d Kelly said. \u201cLike the people who put together the entertainment, who put together the ads, they\u2019re not even trying to like think about the other half of the country. They\u2019re just pandering. They just wanna pander, pander, pander. And it\u2019s fine. The game was great, but it is a slight irritant as you\u2019re watching the game.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kelly\u2019s guest Rick Leventhal, who also previously worked for Fox News, agreed with her.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have to agree and I wonder why that is, why this keeps happening,\u201dLeventhal said. \u201cWhy can\u2019t we be united? Why can\u2019t we all be included in anything and everything entertainment wise? I didn\u2019t know that Ben Affleck wouldn\u2019t act with Republicans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019d never heard that before,\u201d he added. \u201cI do know that there are a lot of actors in Hollywood who are afraid to be honest about their political leanings because they\u2019re concerned about being canceled and that\u2019s happening in every industry. So I\u2019m not surprised, but I am disappointed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kelly has become one of the few people in the media who isn\u2019t afraid to speak out against the woke left.
