Country music has been Garth Brooks\u00a0recently announced<\/a>\u00a0that, despite conservative outrage directed toward Bud Light because of the April 1 marketing video Mulvaney posted for Bud Light, his Nashville bar will be serving Bud Light, and country star John Rich sounds like he\u2019s looking forward to see sales of it in the bar flop dramatically.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, we\u2019re going to serve every brand of beer. We just are. It\u2019s not our decision to make<\/em>,\u201d Brooks\u00a0said<\/a>.\u00a0\u201cIn my existence, one a**hole can turn the whole tide down there. My thing is, let\u2019s create a place that you feel safe in,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0he added.<\/em><\/p>\n

Continuing, Garth then said, \u201cI want the Chick-fil-A of honky tonks I want a place you go in where you feel good, you feel safe. Everybody\u2019s got good manners.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Speaking to Fox News Digital about the situation and his thoughts on why Garth is making the controversial decision to sell Bud Light, Rich\u00a0said<\/a>, \u201cGarth Brooks has always been the guy that that said, \u2018everybody come to my show.<\/em>\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

He then added that that inclusive quality is something that he and other members of the country music industry generally like about Garth,\u00a0telling<\/a>\u00a0Fox News Digital,\u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s something that we love about Garth. You know, he makes his music for everybody. And that really is what music is about. You\u2019re making your music for everybody. Beer\u2019s for everybody, too<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

But, though he and others might think Garth is a good guy at heart, Rich thinks he\u2019s about to learn a hard lesson in business and how inclusive sentiments don\u2019t match with the reality of sales figures.\u00a0\u201cIf Garth is serving Bud Light in his bar, that\u2019s fine. Garth can do that. Garth might find out not many people are going to order it<\/em>,\u201d Rich\u00a0began<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He then cut to the chase of his argument, which is that you have to sell what people want to buy, and what they don\u2019t want to buy, particularly if country music fans in Nashville, is a beer associated with Dylan Mulvaney.\u00a0\u201cAnd at the end of the day, you have to put things in your establishment that people are going to purchase if you\u2019re going to run a successful business. So, he might find that out<\/em>,\u201d Rich\u00a0said<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Rich shied away from throwing any real haymakers Garth\u2019s way, however, instead keeping it nice and commending Garth for being a nice guy trying to make the world as he sees it a better place, even if he\u2019s about to make a monumentally bad business decision that will infuriate many of his fans.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think he probably sees the pain and division that\u2019s going on in the country and wants to try to help that. If I know Garth at all, and I know him a little, that\u2019s probably the impetus behind a statement like that. So, good for him. I wish him the best.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201d Rich\u00a0said<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Rich has said that he doesn\u2019t sell Bud Light in his Nashville bar and instead sells what people want to buy. \u201cThe customers aren\u2019t going to order it I\u2019m not going to stock it. We\u2019ve only got limited area. I\u2019ve got a limited bar. It\u2019s like\u2026 I\u2019ve got to put beer and whiskey and vodkas up here that people want to purchase and they want to support\u2026 And brother, I can tell you right now, it\u2019s a vicious attitude toward Bud Light<\/em>,\u201d Rich\u00a0said<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
