White House press secretary KJP appeared to snap at a reporter when she was asked about the impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden, pushed by Kevin McCarthy and the GOP. A reporter asked: “Thanks, Karine. On impeachment, you just mentioned House Republicans\u2019 \u201cbaseless claims.\u201d\u00a0 How confident are you that there will be no evidence that incriminates President Biden in Hunter\u2019s business dealings as this goes forward?\u201d<\/p>\n
KJP said: \u201cSo, let me just give a little bit of a \u2014 a laydown here, because I think it\u2019s important: Any specifics to \u2014 to the inquiry \u2014 certainly, I \u2014 I want to say this at the top, as I said to Darlene \u2014 I\u2019m going to refer you to my colleagues at the Counsel\u2019s Office. But I want to \u2014 also want to be clear about a couple of things.\u00a0 You know, I just talked about Bidenomics.\u00a0 I just talked about what the President\u2019s going to do tomorrow: really deliver a major speech \u2014 something that the American people want to hear about: what are we doing to improve their lives, work on the economy.\u00a0 And these are real \u2014 real issues, real priorities for Americans \u2014 and like I said, like lowering costs.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n
