Colin Kaepernick\u2019s adoptive parents, Brad and Didid Kaepernick, say they\u2019re not going to hide the truth from the public any longer. According to the couple, who took Colin in at the tender age of just three, he\u2019s as white as they are.<\/p>\n
\u201cColin doesn\u2019t have a drop of black in him,\u201d said Didi, \u201che was always trying to be one of them. We really didn\u2019t know why. But it didn\u2019t matter. Kids play. As he got older, we just kind of\u2026let it happen. He spent a lot of time tanning and told everyone he met at school that his biological mother was black.\u201d<\/p>\n
In fact, his biological mother was a white woman named Vicky who couldn\u2019t hold down a job, smoked too many cigarettes, and managed to get herself pregnant during a 15-minute break from work at the diner. \u201cWe\u2019re about 40% sure it\u2019s Brad\u2019s because he\u2019s a sinner, but we can\u2019t know for certain either way, sadly. \u201d<\/p>\n
Brad died in 2022 of \u201ca broken heart\u201d and they had him cremated before anyone could grab a sample of his DNA for testing.<\/p>\n
Our own investigation shows that the story is likely fabricated, that Kaepernick\u2019s parents probably aren\u2019t named Brad and Didi, and that it would be pretty difficult for them to do this interview together if he was dead.<\/p>\n
Nevertheless, giving the benefit of the doubt and praying it\u2019s true couldn\u2019t hurt.<\/p>\n
