Fox News personality and host Greg Gutfeld is continuing to\u00a0dominate<\/a>\u00a0cable news with his successful late-night TV show.\u00a0 Fox News Channel has long led the cable news market and hosts like Gutfeld are demonstrating this.<\/p>\n

Gutfeld co-host\u2019s the popular Fox News afternoon show \u201cThe Five\u201d and hosts his own show at night \u201cGutfeld!\u201d\u00a0 The comedian and political analyst has garnered two of the top three shows in cable news in the key 25-54 age demographic.\u00a0 Last week, \u201cThe Five\u201d had a chart-topping 448,000 key demographic viewers.\u00a0 Tucker Carlson was in second place with 407,000 viewers while \u201cGutfeld!\u201d landed in third at 379,000.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, \u201cThe Five\u201d has just become the most watched show in all of cable news.\u00a0 The flagship program has averaged a total audience of over 3 million viewers for the week ending January 22nd.<\/p>\n

Fox News Channel dominated the week\u2019s cable news ratings, with\u00a0The Five\u00a0taking the title as the most-watched show in cable news.\u00a0The Five\u00a0drew an average total audience of 3.332 million viewers for the week ending January 22nd, according to ratings data compiled by Nielsen. The panel program continues to be a stronger performer, despite airing outside of prime time, when viewership levels are higher.<\/em><\/p>\n

After\u00a0The Five, the highest-rated shows of the week were\u00a0Tucker Carlson Tonight\u00a0(3.086 million viewers),\u00a0Jesse Watters Primetime\u00a0(2.647 million viewers),\u00a0Hannity\u00a0(2.386 million viewers) and\u00a0Special Report with Bret Baier\u00a0(2.367 million viewers)\u2014all airing on the Fox News Channel.<\/em><\/p>\n

In prime, Fox News led the cable news networks with an average total audience of 1.996 million viewers\u2014beating CNN and MSNBC combined. Overall, Fox had fully 92 of the 100 highest-rated cable news telecasts for the week.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The size of that viewing audience bests both NBC\u2019s \u201cThe Tonight Show With\u00a0Jimmy Fallon<\/strong>\u201d and ABC\u2019s \u201cJimmy Kimmel<\/strong>\u00a0Live\u201d and also consistently trumps such cable rivals as Comedy Central\u2019s \u201cThe Daily Show\u201d and HBO\u2019s \u201cLast Week Tonight\u201d and \u201cReal Time With\u00a0Bill Maher<\/strong>.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Mr. Gutfeld enjoyed his largest audience on record \u2014 2.5 million \u2014 in late October.<\/em><\/p>\n
