Ever since Donald Trump was inaugurated as the 47th US president last month, he\u2019s been holding a number of press conferences, signing off executive orders and even attending the Super Bowl.<\/p>\n

But the same can\u2019t be said for his wife,\u00a0Melania Trump, who has been noticeably absent since the inauguration celebrations took place a few weeks ago.<\/p>\n

For example, Melania has been missing from several White House events, including when\u00a0Trump\u00a0met with a number of\u00a0world leaders such as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba and King Abdullah of Jordan.<\/p>\n

She was also allegedly absent from a dinner Trump hosted in Mar-a-Lago for the Republican senators and their spouses.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, over on the @flotus Instagram account and the one and only post is Melania\u2019s official first lady portrait which was shared last month.<\/p>\n

The photo in question, snapped the day after Trump was sworn in, was taken by photographer R\u00e9gine Mahaux, who has been working with the Trump family for over 20 years.<\/p>\n

Fans have been desperate to know where Melania is, with one person writing on Twitter: \u201cDoes anyone know where Melania is now? She was right by his side & now she\u2019s gone. I miss her being here!\u201d<\/p>\n

While another said: \u201cWhere is Melania? It\u2019s been quite some time since she\u2019s been in public.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, a third commented: \u201cDoes anybody know where Melania is?\u201d<\/p>\n

While it\u2019s not clear for sure what Melania has been up to, it\u2019s thought she\u2019s been spending time in New York, where son\u00a0Barron Trump is attending New York University\u2019s Stern School of Business.<\/p>\n

The first lady has previously spoken about how present she\u2019ll be in Trump\u2019s second term.<\/p>\n

\u201cI already packed, I already selected the furniture that needs to go in,\u201d she told Fox News.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will be in the White House and when I need to be in New York, I\u2019ll be in New York and when I need to be in Palm Beach, I\u2019ll be in Palm Beach.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy first priority is to be a mom, to be a first lady, to be a wife, and once we are in on January 20th, you serve the country.\u201d<\/p>\n

Melania may also be busy with her own projects, too.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, it was reported that she\u2019d bagged a documentary deal with\u00a0Amazon\u00a0which will tell her life story \u2013 from her childhood in Slovenia, her modelling career, and her marriage to Trump.<\/p>\n

Having being filmed in 2024 and due to be released in the second half of 2025, Melania will be an executive producer alongside Fernando Sulichin of New Element Media and Brett Ratner of RatPac Entertainment, who will be the director.<\/p>\n

\u201cPrime Video will be sharing more details on the project as filming progresses and release plans are finalised,\u201d an Amazon spokesperson said in a statement.<\/p>\n
