President Donald Trump\u2019s dream of buying Greenland has been given a boost after legislation has been drawn up and brought to Congress.<\/p>\n
The Trump administration\u2019s expansionist agenda has been on full display since the Republicans reclaimed the Oval Office less than month ago (January 20).<\/p>\n
The 78-year-old has officially renamed the Gulf of Mexico the \u2018Gulf of America\u2019, revealed plans to reclaim the Panama Canal, urged Canada to be the 51st state of America, and has shown intent to \u2018take over\u2019 Gaza displacing all Palestinians.<\/p>\n
We\u2019re already aware of his aspiration to purchase Greenland, even having a fiery phone call with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen \u2013 which reportedly sent officials into crisis mode.<\/p>\n
Of course, Greenland has been part of the Danish Kingdom since it was colonized back in the 18th century \u2013 and was seen as only a colony until 1953 when it was redefined as a district of Denmark.<\/p>\n
