<\/p>\nDuring Tuesday\u2019s episode of the ABC talk show \u201cThe View,\u201d Joy Behar seemingly attempted to blame who she is psychologically on her late father when she whined that it still bothers her that her he didn\u2019t think she was pretty when she was a child, which was a long time ago given the fact that she is currently 80 years-old<\/p>\n

\nIt all started when co-host Sunny Hostin admitted that she\u2019s never been to therapy even though she is \u201cprobably a lunatic most of the time.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sure I need it,\u201d she added. (We\u2019re not going to argue with that!)<\/p>\n
Hostin then said that Behar is constantly claiming that \u201cmost of your adult behavior stems from some sort of childhood trauma.\u201d<\/p>\n
That\u2019s when Behar opened up about her own \u201cchildhood trauma\u201d like never before.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s like if you have a wound and you put a bandaid on it, it will never heal because it doesn\u2019t get air. You\u2019ve got to air the wound,\u201d Behar said. \u201cAnd you\u2019ve got to also understand why your behavior today is your unconscious mind telling you what to do rather than your conscious mind.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\u2018The View\u2019 Co-Hosts Hit Back
\nSome of Behar\u2019s co-hosts took issue with this logic, however, with Sara Haines pointing out that \u201cwhat\u2019s traumatic as you\u2019re developing, could be very minor to your adult self.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat if your sister took your cookie?\u201d Hostin asked. \u201cAre you going to then be a stingy person for the rest of your life because your sister took your cookie?\u201d<\/p>\n
This was enough to lead Behar to put on her therapist hat and say that Hostin must be in a sibling rivalry herself, adding that she should \u201cwork on that.\u201d<\/p>\n
Behar then brought up her father saying that another girl was prettier than her when she was a child, claiming that there are \u201csome things that stick in your mind.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cLike if your father doesn\u2019t think you\u2019re pretty, you don\u2019t think you\u2019re pretty,\u201d Behar lamented before emotionally exclaiming, \u201cThis is so sad!\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWhatever, he\u2019s dead now,\u201d Behar concluded coldly. \u201cI liked him, actually. He was very funny.\u201d<\/p>\n
