I\u2019m going to have to take a deep breath for my MVP. And my MVP is all things \u2018The 11th Hour.\u2019 This show. Our team. And especially you, our audience,\u201d she began.<\/p>\n<p>Ruhle thanked viewers for making the program part of their nightly routine and acknowledged the unique relationship she developed with them over the years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou don\u2019t have this program on in the background,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInstead, you are choosing to invite us into your home every night \u2014 sometimes giving me the privilege of being the last voice you hear before you go to sleep,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>And I take that privilege seriously. So to you, I say thank you,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n<p>Following her remarks, MS NOW aired a montage highlighting memorable moments from Ruhle\u2019s tenure on the program.<\/p>\n<p>After the retrospective concluded, Ruhle turned her attention to the person who will inherit the anchor chair.<\/p>\n<p>She praised Velshi, describing him as both a trusted colleague and close friend.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd I\u2019m grateful to be leaving you all in such capable hands,\u201d Ruhle said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy good friend and colleague of many years, my partner in crime, Ali Velshi, will be taking over the \u201811th Hour\u2019 anchor chair on Monday.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She continued by highlighting the qualities she believes make Velshi well-suited for the role.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAli is smart. He\u2019s insightful. And most importantly, he cares,\u201d she said. \u201cHe\u2019s committed to the facts and never stops believing in the promise of this country.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ruhle also reflected on the support Velshi has provided throughout their years working together.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo many times Ali has been my rock,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd now he can be yours, too.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She closed her remarks with a personal message to her successor: \u201cAli \u2014 I can\u2019t wait to see what you do with the place.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The emotional farewell comes amid broader programming changes at MS NOW that were announced last month as the network reshuffles several key time slots.<\/p>\n<p>Under the new lineup, Ruhle\u2019s move to mornings will place her in a role focused on business, economics and politics, subjects she covered extensively before joining the evening schedule.<\/p>\n<p>Before entering television journalism, Ruhle spent years in the financial industry and has built much of her broadcasting career around economic reporting.<\/p>\n<p>Her departure from \u201cThe 11th Hour\u201d marks the end of a run that saw her guide viewers through elections, economic uncertainty, international crises and major breaking news events.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Stephanie Ruhle ending of her last show the 11th Hour on Ms Now.
