Now, some conservatives are insisting that justice finally catch up with the “pencil neck” lawmaker for his role in pushing a theory that, they claim, not only misled millions but also had damaging repercussions on U.S. foreign policy.
The Rise and Fall of the “Russian Collusion” Narrative
For years, Adam Schiff became one of the most vocal proponents of the idea that President Trump was under the undue influence of Russian leadership. Schiff, along with a host of media figures and political operatives, repeatedly asserted that there was a deep state conspiracy involving Moscow—a narrative that spurred multiple investigations by the House, as well as probes led by former U.S. attorney John Durham and former FBI director Robert Mueller.
However, after exhaustive inquiries, investigators found zero evidence to support the claim of collusion.
